M. Daedalus - POETRY / POESIA

the aroma of the landscape

In long aestival days,
A delicious indulgence prevails,
Despising the progress of the clock's hands,
I live the anguish of immobility.
Missing the places I don't know.
Yearning for the solitude of distance,
Immersed in the crowd,
Enjoying passion for the unexpected.

Jogging while probing the dawn,
Sipping surprising colours,
Following the aroma of the landscape,
Sharing the horizon in a smile,
Finding a cornucopia of feelings,
Blending them in an ethereal canvas,
Crafted of the softest contrasts,
Where the sun sustains the shadows.
